Dear God-
Will you forgive me?
Will you mend my broken spirit that I may be whole?
How oft, Father, have I begged for Thy forgiveness. How oft have I begged for Thy help and yet I so easily bend to the lure of sin. Am I not sincere in pleadings?
Do I not truly desire to keep Thy commandments and walk in Thy ways? Is it possible to obtain Thy forgiveness despite the continued weakness of my flesh? When I walk down the same road, and fall in the same hole over, and over again?
Oh my Father, I pray for Thy divine healing. Mend my soul that I may always walk in Thy ways. Open my eyes that I might see myself as I really am.
Help me understand my eternal nature, my divine destiny, my sacred purpose.
